_________________________________________________________ Special Needs Dance classes Classes are taught by an Occupational Therapist and Dance Instructor for children ages 4-and up with physical and developmental disabilities. See below for class schedule. This class is great for those with MR, Autism/PDD, Social/Verbal Delays, CP Down Syndrome and more. Boys ,Girls and adults alike will benefit from the experience of participating in this type of class. We aim to give these students a safe environment to explore their physical movement, express themselves through movement and to gain a healthy body awareness. These classes also aide in developing social skills and proper classroom behavior. Classes are provided at a low rate of $40/month and only a $10 registration fee. We are working towards gaining funding to subsidize this program to offer free sessions whenever possible, but when we must charge it will always be at the lowest rate possible. Partial scholarships are available by application only. If you are interested in classes or if you want to volunteer to help, contact us today!
Students will be offered the opportunity to perform with our school at our Annual Holiday and June performances. Feel free to join us at anytime! *PLEASE SEE SUMMER CLASS SCHEDULE* Current 2009-2010 school year schedule: Mondays: 5:45-6:30 ages 5-11 Thursdays: 6:45-7:30 ages 5-11 New for Fall: Wednesday 4:45-5:30 (4-9 yrs) Tuesdays: 7-7:45 (16 yrs and up) Saturdays 11:30a-12:15p (ages 10-16)
